There is just nobody with a cuter little personality than she has.
So here is everything you need to know about our nine month old girl:
Emery has TWO teeth!
Her hair has grown to about one inch of thin little whisps.
AND its dark :) Green eyes and dark hair. Lucky lady.
We haven't gotten her 9 month checkup yet, but we are pretty sure she has hit 20 pounds and maybe 26 inches long.
She is starting to grow into her head (ok..its still pretty huge...)
She eats cheerios, muffins, apples, oranges, bread, pizza, and CHOCOLATE.
She can stand for about 6 seconds before she topples over.
I don't know if she will ever do a full crawl...we really think she will
skip right to walking...but she has finally started to use her lets to
scoot around. Her favorite place to scoot? To Gus's toys.
Gus and Emery fight over toys like...well...like children. They always want the toy that they other has.
She knows what it means when I tell her to walk to the bath - she reaches for my fingers and walks me on over.
I am 71% certain that she knows what it means when she says "dada" Freaking cute!
She is curious about strangers, but not curious enough to get too close.
But what an absolute flirt she is. She bats those long eyelashes at all the boys, gives her perfect little smile with her head tilted in a perfectly adorable way...and then hides her face in mommy's hair.
Business has WAY slowed down for my etsy shop.
It used to be that it took everything in me to be able to keep up, but I don't get much attention anymore.
But it is a blessing because I have been extremely busy with other things.
I am tutoring algebra, teaching music lessons, completing crafting orders for friends, planning a huge (ok maybe not HUGE, but it feels huge to me) musical Christmas production for church, and the list goes on.
Being a grown up is hard stuff!
I just want to take a bubble bath and a long nap.
Ethan is hard at work on his new business venture.
We've both been working all the little odd jobs that we can to keep our heads above water until things get rolling.
It is an exciting time!
We finally got some family pictures (thanks Mallory!)
We had to get it done in about 20 minutes because Emery was a cranky lady that day (surprised?), so we didn't get as many as we would have liked.
I guess we'll have to take another opportunity to get a few more :)
Christmas photo shoot? Ok sure!
Emery is screaming for her mom though, and I think daddy has about had it, so I will TRY to remember to post another blog with those pictures.
