Lucky Sevens

So obviously we still haven't gotten our family pictures yet...we're still just waiting for a day that isn't completely filled with a million other things.  Fall pictures are nice though :)  And the  fall is HERE!!!!  Is there anything more perfect than fall?  NO.  There is not.

Except maybe our sweet little Emery...who is 7 MONTHS OLD!  (good transition huh?)
The blog is way late, but I took the pictures on the 18th, so they're accurate, don't worry!

We have finally had a breakthrough with food!  When I say breakthrough I mean that she kind of eats one thing some of the time.  Which is huge progress compared to where we were last month!  She LOVES carbs.  We just give her whole rolls or slices of bread or tortillas and she chows down.

We got her ears pierced and she looks so cute!

She is the biggest fan of Psych that probably has ever lived.  She can be throwing the biggest fit in the world and goes silent to watch the intro every time it comes on.

She pulls herself up to stand...and then falls over and bonks her little head.

She likes to play in the bathtub even without any water (you can thank Mallory for discovering this).  This comes in handy when I want to do my hair.

We learned that she HAS been laughing for months...she just has a funny laugh : )

Strangers stop us to tell us how beautiful she is all the time.  Its those eyes.  One lady told us that we will need to enroll her in self defense classes before she's 5. Thanks lady.
P.S. we got new phones (went from iPhones to the Galaxy S4...and it makes the pictures funny shapes so thats why these pictures are..well..funny shapes.)

As for Ethan and me - he is still doing so great with his new job!  They are good for him and he is good for them, so there truly couldn't be anything better!
I'm still selling on Etsy and I'll be doing a festival next month (if Emery gives me the time to get enough product together!!!)

Ethan's birthday was this month and I think we had a lot of fun!
He ate an 18 oz steak, I made ice cream cake, and he got to meet a sweet little sugar bear!

Our pictures REALLY will be coming soon, so stay tuned : )

  1. I was searching for my GF’s blog and came across yours. Read you post about having your darling daughter’s ears pierced early with your GF’s daughter. How cute are they? I think you’re a smart and thoughtful mommy for getting your dd’s her ears pierced as an infant. She will thank you later for the “gift of pierced ears.”

I am in favor of infant ear piercing and absolutely swoon over tiny baby girls with those little gold studs in their earlobes. Not only do I think it is Adorable with a capital A, it also helps little baby girls like my Sandi say, “I am a girl!!” before they can talk. I had a similar difficult experience in deciding when to have my dd’s ears pierced too. I was a bit nervous, but changed my mind after seeing so many babies and little girls with cute earrings.

Still unsure, I asked our ped encouraged me to have our daughter’s ears pierced when mommy could care for them and allow them to heal properly. She gave me some ” Tips for moms having their dd’s ears pierced and ” Tips for moms having their daughter’s ears pierced” since she had so many moms ask about having their infants and little girls ears pierced.

If any other moms are unsure or need some research, then write me an e-mail. Promise, she’ll look adorable in
    her upcoming holiday pictures.
