daddy's girl is four months old!

And you can see that she still gets fatter by the day :)
As of this afternoon, she is in the 45th percentile in weight at 14 pounds and the 4th percentile in height at 23 inches (short like her mommy).
She eats when she's bored, sad, lonely, scared, hurt, excited, tired - did I say bored?  Needless to say, this momma is ready and excited to start solids!
We have a lot of fun developments this month!

&She loves to stand and can even hold herself up without any help - she'll be walking before she can crawl! Just need to master the art of balance.
&We have finally gotten her to stay on her tummy long enough to figure out that she can roll over when she wants to, and not just when she gets mad enough to kick herself over by accident.
&We might have some teeth coming through...we definitely have drool and a lot of fussing.  But its no secret that she has always been a fussy lady, so who knows.

This is my new favorite picture of her.
&Our sleep routine has disappeared entirely.  We are not napping.  We are not sleeping at night.  We are starting over from scratch. But I knew what I was getting into when I decided to have this little one, so I'm not complaining :)
& She has a favorite toy that her mims bought her.  We call him Mr. Monk (for all you Monk fans out there - yes, we did name him after Adrian.) He is her best friend.
&We already have a little singer and it is the cutest thing.  She sings to herself in her car seat all the time.

&She is a daddy's girl.  It is really the sweetest thing, but hard on her mom every day when daddy goes to work all day.  They watch cartoons together on Saturday mornings (pictured bottom left), go shopping together (bottom right), he takes her for walks so that I can get in my weekly shower...I wish I was exaggerating about that...and he is often the only one who can get her to smile.
&We're getting very very close to getting a little giggle from her, but we're just not quite there yet.  Any day now!  I can't wait!

&She loves watching TV.  And maybe I'm a bad mom, but I let her.  Whatever keeps her busy long enough for me to do the dishes!  Plus its super cute.

Ethan is loving his job now that he has been promoted and is working with a new group of people.  The long hours are hard, but worth it for him to be happy and comfortable with his job!

I've been making baby headbands and bow ties and selling them on etsy.  I've only made a few sales but it is so so fun and exciting!  And I just love being able to make them as gifts for friends.  As soon as we have enough extra money for me to buy the materials, I'm going to start making accessories for brides as well.  I cannot wait!
I guess our blog is as good a place as any to promote it huh? :) If you want to see my crafts go to EdenSongBoutique.Etsy.com

We have both been given new callings at church.  Ethan is the ward mission leader, which takes up every extra second that he has but he absolutely LOVES it.  And he is extremely passionate about the work, so he does an amazing job.
I am the primary chorister.  I've only been in for two weeks, but I am still scared out of my mind.  I think I am a little bit over-ambitious and my ideas stress me out.  I'm sure I'll get the hang of things soon and maybe stop putting so much pressure on myself.  They're just kids...how scary can they be, right? Sure.

Overall, we're doing really really great and loving life in Tennessee.  We've had our share of trials, but we have been immensely blessed and we love having the opportunity to see so many of our blessings so clearly.
