our two month old baby girl

We're a week late but...better late than never right?
I'm combining Easter, her blessing, and her two month update all in one because I'm a slacker.

This is the cute skirt that we originally bought to bless her in....unfortunately the blessing date was postponed and she quickly grew too big for it.  I still tried to dress her in it because my heart was so set on it, but it didn't even kind of work out.  Yes, I cried. Maybe she'll have a little sister who can wear it some day.

Her little toes are growing crooked but she's still the cutest thing.

She is all Elkins...anyone could be her mom.

Both sets of grandparents. Hunters on the left, Elkins on the right.  This is the state that our Emery is usually in...but I try to only share pictures of her being happy (which is why she is sleeping in most of her pictures).

Her mims bought her this perfect little easter outfit.

You might not know, but easter is my favorite holiday so it was really important to me that emery look perfect for her first one :) 

 

And a family easter photo...Ethan hates this picture cause he says he looks "stoned".  I look tired and emery is howling at the moon or something but....it was the cutest one out of all of them haha.

Emery was trowing a fit (as usual) so we just tried to get it over with.

Oh and those are NOT shoes on her feet (what??!!) ...they're just little socks that look like shoes haha.

We got probably 80 pairs in various colors and sizes from Aunt Sue Bear in California.

{ two months old }

Alright. Our baby is two months old and just growing so fast!

...4th percentile for height at 21 inches long.  Short like her mom :)
...50th percentile for weight at almost 12 pounds.
...84th (!) percentile for her MASSIVE head haha.  No wonder they had to cut her out of me!
...she still loves music more than anything.
...she is a morning person if I've ever seen one!  She wakes up smiling every single day.
...she seems to have a lot to say :) if only her mom could understand.
...she loves the outdoors and feeling the sunshine on her skin.
...she only wakes up once each night.
...she watches the TV but does not like kids shows.
